- The Johor State New Administrative Centre is the symbol of a new attitude towards the government efficiency.
- The 320 acre Kota Iskandar consists of the Johor State Legislative Assembly Building, the Chief Minister and State Secretary Complex, Dataran Mahkota Plaza and the State Departments Complex; a total of more than 76 state and federal government departments, and housing more than 6,000 civil servicemen.
- Officially launched on 19 April 2009, it is sited just beside Puteri Harbour.

The joint-venture security company agreement between Iskandar Investment Berhad & UEM Sunrise called Nusajaya Five-O is a full-fledged security services company that provides enhanced security for Iskandar Puteri. Nusajaya Five-O's responsibility includes the deployment of an Auxiliary Police team in Iskandar Puteri.
